Claire Redfern opened Vivid Forest Hub in October 2019 with forty-three products on the shelves and a very specific idea of what the shop should feel like. She'd spent years in large retail environments where the buying decisions were made by committee and the floor was reset every six weeks to match a head-office planogram. She wanted the opposite: a place where things stayed until they sold, where the logic of the edit was visible, and where a customer could ask why something was there and get a real answer.
