A mid-weight merino from a small knitwear producer in the Scottish Borders, knitted on a 7-gauge machine that gives it a slightly open texture without losing warmth. The slate colourway is a proper grey-blue, not the washed-out version you see everywhere. Sizes XS-XL.
Woven from unbleached European linen, this tote has a base gusset wide enough to hold a hardback flat. The handles are long enough to go over a coat shoulder. It gets better with washing, which is the only thing worth saying about a bag.
Made by a candlemaker in rural Derbyshire from local hive wax, these burn for around 40 hours and smell faintly of honey without being sweet about it. The amber colour deepens as the wax ages. Sold individually.
Thrown on a wheel by a potter working out of a shared studio in Sheffield, these mugs hold 280ml and have a slightly squared handle that sits well in the hand. The speckle comes from iron-rich grog in the clay body, not a glaze effect. Each one is slightly different.
A 70% wool, 30% recycled polyester blend woven in a four-colour check that reads as deep green from a distance and reveals rust and ochre up close. 180cm long, 35cm wide. Dry clean or hand wash cold.
A curated set of three items chosen for the season: the beeswax candle, a small jar of local wildflower honey from a beekeeper in the Calder Valley, and a linen cloth. Wrapped in tissue and packed in a kraft box. Good for people you want to thank properly.

Cut from offcuts of English oak by a woodworker in Todmorden, these dishes have a shallow channel routed along the base to let water drain. They darken slightly with use, which is the point. Each one is unique in grain.
